Life After Graduate

It's official that my convocation date is on 11th November 2018.
My mum is excited to buy new clothes to wear on my convo day and of course, me too.
I still don't know what kind of clothes I should wear on that day but my mum said I should wear baju kurung. So, Baju Kurung it is but wait, what color should I buy ??? Since my robe is green.

Actually, the real point I am writing this is not about the convocation day actually. I want to talk about life after graduation. What kind of job I'm looking for or should I work with the private sector or the government sector? But, the government sector is so hard to get. Honestly, it's hard to get a job that suits your education level. Most employers in this country tend to offer a lower salary for fresh graduates as they commonly say, "We need an experienced worker. If fresh graduate wants to apply, we can only offer them a salary that is lower than what they expected". Oohh what a world we live in. We need to develop survival skills since we are young to survive in this world with our skills.

I still don't have a job at this moment after I've been through a lot of interviews. UOB, HSBC, and private school...I am still unemployed. The banks offer high salaries but of course, it takes so many stages of interviews to get work with them. The private school I went to for the interview wants to pay me less than what I asked since I have experience in teaching. It's not much..1.8K but they refused my expected salary so, I declined their offer. Am I being too choosy? Hmm..

P/s: Hire me, dear employer, out there. You won't be disappointed, I promise. πŸ˜‰πŸ˜Š

It's 2019

Well, Hello there.

It's New Year 2019 already.
Have all your wishes for 2018 been successfully completed or not? Mine, Alhamdulillah. Some went the way I planned, but most of them did not πŸ˜‚. Guess, Allah has something for me. InshaAllah.

As for 2019, I just hope that I'll get a job that is enough to support my family and me, especially Mama and Abah. It's time for me to repay them and make our lives more comfortable than now. So, yeah...I need a job on this New Year. I hope this year brings a lot of positive impacts for me. I want to get married this year, if possible but I haven't met my soulmate yet. I don't know who he is, but I hope he is the one I've patiently waited for, the one that is always in my prayers. O Allah, the one who always knows what is best for His servant, I pray he is the one for me that You've been promised a long time ago.

I just hope that this year will be better than before. No fake people pretending to be nice in front of me, no more false hope, and less unnecessary drama. Indeed, I want to do more good deeds, perform solah earlier, become a good Muslimah and servant of Allah, and do good to Mama Abah. Making them happy is my top priority at this moment. May He grant us the Highest Jannah and forgive all our sins since, believe it or not, the world has come to its end. Scary, isn't it? But that's the truth. Let's increase our Iman and do as many as possible ibadah to strengthen our Akidah. InshaAllah, He will never disappoint us as long as we do not forget Him 😊.

Dear Raab, I wish my family and I could be together through ups and downsπŸ’–. This year and the future will treat us better than before. As for myself, as I mentioned above, to get a job and oh, also clear skin. No more zits, no more breakouts, and the scar on my face, pleaseπŸ™…. Hoping my skin to have mercy on me. I truly wish for this.

I'll pray all of us will find our infinite happiness and soulmate. No more tears for stupid things, especially the one that is called love. Have a great kickstart of the new year, everyone! Embrace yourself, embrace love. 😘😘😘

Internship

Hello,

It has been two weeks since I started my internship in Pusat Komunikasi Korporat UKM, Bangi. I've got a lot of questions from my aunts, uncles, cousins and friends about my internship. They asked me why I chose UKM as my LI placement where I'm also doing my degree in UKM. Lol

Well, to answer everyone's question...I only applied to three companies for my LI placement. When I told them about this to my parents, they were like 'Seriously Aalia? Awat sikit sangat? Orang minta la banyak sikit bagi peluang tu tinggi untuk dapat dalam masa terdekat bla bla bla..' And my answer to the them was " Ma, abah...orang minta company yang orang minat ja la. Bahagian yang orang expert. Kalau main minta ja kang orang dapat, orang tak suka macam mana?'. Little, they accept my excuse because you know, my parents are among considerate people that I have ever encountered in my life ❤. Most of my classmates, I know some of them apply to more than six companies and that shocked me. I felt nervous after I learned about that maybe because they really worked hard for our LI placement since we needed to compete with a lot of students from other universities and not so many companies needed an intern. Sigh 10x !!! Urghhh I'm gonna be okay and I will get my placement for my LI.

Forgot to mention, I also upload my resume via jobsmalaysia.com and internsheep.com. After my posting, I got a lot of phone calls from companies that have reviewed my resume on those websites. I didn't say yes to all the phone calls if they asked me for an interview. This is because I read a lot of scam companies around Kuala Lumpur and that scared me to death. Eerr- not really, I'm just being careful of my future career :') I googled their company's name and yeah some of them were a scam company. I was like, 'Lucky you Aalia you checked them first on Google..read reviews of their company and declined their interview. Syukur.' Then, the company I really wanted the most called me. I admit that I was over the moon when I got the phone call from them but in the end, it did not go well. The reason was, that they wanted me to start my LI in May and clearly, I'm not finished with my study yet, and on top of that, my viva was on the line. I declined their offer and I cried. Clearly, macam mana I takde jodoh dengan dia..begitu juga dengan company tersebut. Next, I got an offer from Genting Berhad as well but I also declined it because urghhh I don't want to work on shift. It is just a practical for god sake. Lastly, my dad asked me to apply to UKM. He said it is easy for me to do my LI in UKM since I don't need to think about the accommodation issue like where to stay and where to rent. I accepted his proposal and on my last day in UKM after my final exam, I sent my resume to Pusat Komunikasi Korporat (PKK) UKM at the Canselori building. Lastly, one week after Eidulfitri, I got a call from them and I got accepted. The end.

I choose PKK because there is the word ''communication''. As long as there is communication, I will apply it. I really like to talk and involve myself with something related to it since I have high skills in communication- approved by people who know me well and myself, too.☺ Now, I kinda enjoying my work here. My job scope here is to cover any events in UKM and write news for it to be published in UKM's magazines. I'm doing both languages (Bahasa Melayu and English version) meh (-_-)'. I'm gonna stop my writing here. Be happy, be bold and be confident in whatever you're doing right now. May all the goodness and kindness in this world belong to us.

P/s: OMG, I'm a big girl already !!!
